  otz Environmental Services Inc. is strategically located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada,
which is just west of Toronto, Ontario and approximately 1 hour north of the USA border crossing of Buffalo,
New York. This location is the site of our main office and fully permitted
transfer station. It is also the home of our paint and coatings division, a
35,000 sq.ft. paint recycling facility.
Recognizing the large percentage of unused paint and related materials that were being discarded by individuals, manufacturers, and industry alike, Hotz developed a unique and innovative approach to resolve this costly, environmental dilemma. It has taken the better part of ten years to establish our current program. While a lot of first hand research and development has proved to be invaluable, part of the success of this program can be attributed to the valuable relationship we have fostered with national paint manufacturers. It is a unique relationship that offers win-win results for all concerned. Hotz benefits from the exchange of technological information and in return, Hotz offers to rework their off-spec material to be sold in non-competing marketplaces. Developed in consultation with both Federal and Provincial governments, this successful program has enabled Hotz to offer its clients economical services, for the recycling of their unused paint products. While both the client and the environment enjoy the benefits of this program, there is also an added advantage. The finished product is marketed to countries where good quality, low cost paint is in great demand, thereby satisfying the demand for a much needed product. It was this innovative global strategy that earned Hotz a prestigious Recycling Council of Ontario Award for market development. These recycled paint products are suitable for domestic and professional applications. Quality is assured by the careful formulation of the recycled base stock, by our team of skilled technicians, supported by continuous laboratory research and analysis. The recycling of unused paint maximizes the reuse of expensive raw materials which has a direct effect on the final product pricing. Available in both acrylic latex and alkyd oil base formulations, these products feature a premium blend of virgin and recycled materials.
